MS Finnmarken

The first Hurtigruten ship to bear the MS Finnmarken name was introduced in 1912 and her worthy successor has been designed to reflect Finnmarken Cruises the elegance of the past.

MS Finnmarken was built in 2002 and belongs to the same class as MS Trollfjord and MS Midnatsol. She is the only ship with both a swimming pool and Jacuzzis on deck. Another unique feature about MS Finnmarken is the accessibility of her bow. On Deck 5, guests can walk all the way to the front of the ship. The ship is beautifully appointed and decorated in an Art Nouveau style.

Hurtigruten Cruise Lines

In 2008 Hurtigruten celebrated it's 115th birthday. For more than a century, its passenger and cargo ships have connected Northern and Southern Norway.

On board the ships, large, comfortable lounges provide panoramic views as you glide silently and slowly through some of the world’s most beautiful and untouched scenery. All the ships, except for the older, smaller vessels have a small library where you can immerse yourself in a good book, and a café serving snacks and drinks 24 hours a day. Some of the newer ships have Jacuzzis and a fitness room.
