Itinerary

Day 1 – Bristol

Your journey begins as you sail out of Bristol, on board Magellan. Take the time to explore the ship and settle in as you sail towards Iceland - Land of ice and fire.

Day 2 & 3 – At Sea

Day 4 - Kollafjordur

Kollafjørður is a village in the Faroe Islands, located on the island of Streymoy. Although small and remote, the Faroe Islands are packed with unique and authentic adventures for every kind of visitor. The setting is a colourful and truly stunning place. The Faroese nature is very real, always challenging you to explore it.

Day 5 - Seyðisfjörður

Next stop is Seyðisfjörður, architecturally interesting and full of history. With multicoloured wooden houses, surrounded by snowcapped mountains and cascading waterfalls, its truly picturesque.

Enjoy the friendly atmosphere, with its community of artists, musicians and craftspeople.

Day 6 – Akureyri

Akureyri is a city at the base of Eyjafjörður Fjord in northern Iceland. In the center, the 1940 Akureyri Church has stained-glass windows portraying scenes from Icelandic Christian history. There are views of the fjord from the forecourt. Nearby, the Akureyri Art Museum displays contemporary art from Iceland and farther afield. To the south are the Botanical Gardens, with specimens from across Iceland.

Day 7 – Isafjordur

Moving on, you'll arrive in Ísafjörður, a pleasant and prosperous place, popular with travellers. Expect to see a charming selection of old timber and tin-clad buildings, many unchanged since the 18th century.

It also offers a bustling metropolis, complete with quirky cafes and restaurants, providing local delicacies.

Day 8 & 9 - Reykjavik

Today you'll stope at the stunning Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital and the country’s cultural centre. Home to a number of museums, galleries and exhibitions and boasting an impressive array of cafes, restaurants and bars, there is so much to enjoy in this vibrant, picturesque city.

Day 10 & 11 – At Sea

Day 12 – Cobh (for Cork)

Lying at the mouth of the River Lee, Cobh has one of the best natural harbours in the world. Known as Queenstown until 1922, it was the departure point for thousands of Irish emigrants to America and the last port of call of the Titanic.

Day 13 – Bristol

Unfortunately your cruise ends here, as you cruise back into Bristol.
